The title is a reference to the fact that I've barely touched a musical instrument in the past month. It's a shame things like working and sleeping get in the way of the creative process.

I was literally about to go to bed tonight and I got the creative urge. I went into my music room and powered up my two analog synths to start them warming up. During the warm-up period, I came up with the "bass" sequence that I programmed into the NiftyKEYZ / Moog Mavis setup. The lead was played on the Behringer Poly D, which was also fed through an EHX Oceans 12 Dual Stereo Reverb pedal. There was also some plate reverb supplied by the mixer. You'll hear a blend of low frequency modulation via OSC 4 along with some crazy pitch modulation via the LFO.
